Social media is already talking about a potential Caleb Love and UNC matchup in Elite 8
The 2024 NCAA Tournament bracket is officially here. The field of 68 was released by the selection committee on CBS Sunday night and it’s time to start the madness.
For the North Carolina Tar Heels, they are the No. 1 seed in the West Region, earning an NCAA record 18th No. 1 seed. And already with the bracket only an hour old, college basketball fans are talking about a potential Elite 8 matchup.
With the Tar Heels as the No. 1 seed and Arizona as the No. 2 seed, there’s potential that the Tar Heels and former guard Caleb Love could meet in Los Angeles for a trip to the Final Four. It’s a matchup that a lot of fans want and would see Love face off against his former team, two years after he hit one of the biggest shots in UNC basketball history beating Duke in the Final Four.
