The Florida A&M women's tennis team won the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championship on Sunday over Jackson State.

The Rattlers (10-11, 9-0 SWAC), defeated the defending champions JSU Tigers, 4-2 at New Orleans' Pepsi Tennis Court. Freshman Reagan Harris scored the game-deciding point.

FAMU women's tennis SWAC championship win was the program's first conference title since 1997 as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) ― when the Rattlers head coach Rochelle 'Nikki' Houston was a player on the team.
