Seth Davis picks James Madison to upset 5-seeded Wisconsin in first round of NCAA Tournament
The 2024 NCAA Tournament Bracket hasn't been live for more than an hour and upset projections are starting to pile in.
One of the instant reactions involved the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Badgers, who were tabbed with the No. 5 seed in the South Region, were picked to be upset by 12-seed James Madison in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by college basketball insider Seth Davis during Sunday's NCAA Tournament Selection Show on CBS.
"I spy a 12-5 upset," Davis said.

The Badgers, who are appearing in their sixth NCAA Tournament under Greg Gard, finished as the runner-up in the Big Ten Tournament after falling to Illinois in Minneapolis earlier Sunday.
James Madison earned the automatic bid out of the Sun Belt Conference and is one of the top mid-majors in the country. The Dukes rank fifth in the country in 3-point shooting percentage defense (28.8%), 14th in turnover major (+3.7) and 16th in steals per game at 9.0.
The 5-seed Badgers will take on 12-seed James Madison on Friday, March 22 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Tip-off time for Wisconsin's game will be released soon by the NCAA.
