March Madness is about to tip off.

Brackets for the men's and women's NCAA Tournaments are scheduled to be released during Selection Sunday, which begins at 5 p.m.

Both the OU men's and women's basketball teams will surely be watching. The men are on the bubble with hopes of securing their first NCAA Tournament since 2021, while the women are set to go dancing for the third straight season.

Where will OU men's and women's basketball be seeded in the 2024 NCAA Tournament?

The OU men's basketball team is on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.

After beginning the season with 10 straight wins and reaching No. 7 in the AP poll, OU finished with a 20-12 (8-10 Big 12) record. It also suffered a 77-70 loss to TCU in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament.

ESPN's Joe Lunardi projects OU to be the final team to make the cut for the NCAA Tournament.

It'll face Michigan State in the First Four round in Dayton, Ohio. The winner will get the No. 10 seed in the West Region, where it'll face No. 7 Gonzaga in Salt Lake City.

If that projection holds true, it'll mark the first NCAA Tournament appearance under Porter Moser. He's in his third season as the Sooners' head coach.

Meanwhile, the OU women's basketball team is sure to make its respective NCAA Tournament.

The Sooners (22-9, 15-3 Big 12) are ranked No. 17 in the AP poll, and they reached the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament before suffering an 85-68 loss to Iowa State.

ESPN's Charlie Creme projects OU to be a No. 5 seed. It'll face No. 12 South Dakota State in Boulder, Colorado.
