The reigning national champion LSU Tigers are the No. 2 seed and the likely fit to give South Carolina a run for its money if both meet up in Sunday's championship game.
Kim Mulkey's squad has been scorching hot the last few weeks as it brings an eight-game winning streak into the SEC tournament. Aside from superstar forward Angel Reese and All-American transfer Aneesah Morrow, Hailey Van Lith has added herself to LSU's puzzle to make a run in March over the last few weeks, adding to the challenge for team's to defend and defeat the Tigers in March. The Louisville transfer has found her strive offensively in the last three games, averaging 19.7 points in that stretch.
Others that can make a case to win the tournament include Ole Miss, Alabama and Tennessee.
