The Texas A&M Aggies are the SEC's big winner from Week 9. Texas A&M used a 31-point second half to top the LSU Tigers in a battle of undefeated SEC teams (in conference play only). Texas A&M is in the driver's seat to advance to the SEC championship.

The Aggies have a relatively easy path to Atlanta with remaining conference games at South Carolina, at Auburn and versus Texas. However, Texas A&M may need to win out to ensure a berth in the SEC title game.

The Alabama Crimson Tide dominated the Missouri Tigers, 34-0, to squash Missouri's College Football Playoff hopes. The Crimson Tide remain alive in the SEC but will need some help to get back in the SEC title picture.

Texas picked up a 27-24 win at Vanderbilt to keep its SEC championship hopes strong. Ole Miss defeated Oklahoma, 26-14, in a gritty win. Arkansas piled the points on Mississippi State in 58-25 win. Auburn earned a 24-10 road win to get their first conference win of the season.

The Georgia Bulldogs had a bye in Week 9 ahead of their clash with the Florida Gators next week. Florida also had a bye along with South Carolina and Tennessee.
