The Buffalo Bills might have to face one of the best players the Seattle Seahawks have on their roster when the two sides faceoff in NFL Week 8 action.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, wide receiver DK Metcalf is considered "week-to-week," after he sustained a knee injury during  Seattle's 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons last week. Metcalf left the contest and did not return:

When asked about Metcalf post-Falcons win, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said the team was "optimistic" about the wideout. However, that is still a vague statement, so the ESPN update likely means he will not play against the Bills.

So far this year, Metcalf has 35 catches for 568 yards and three touchdowns in Seattle's No. 1 ranked passing offense in the NFL.

In Metcalf's lone game against Buffalo in his career in 2020, he had seven catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. The Bills won that outing 44-34.

Bills Wire will provide updates on all injuries throughout the upcoming week.
