After scoring 14 first-half points, Jalen Smith out with back spasms
INDIANAPOLIS -- Center Jalen Smith was the Pacers' most productive player in the first half of Thursday's game against Golden State, but he will not return for the second half.
Smith scored 14 first-half points on 6 of 6 shooting to lead the Pacers, but Pacers PR reported early in the third quarter that he will not return because of lower back spasms. Smith has been dealing with lower back issues for several weeks and has missed multiple games this season because of them. He is averaging 10.7 points and 5.6 rebounds this season.
