Pearsall is a slot receiver with elite hands and route running ability. He is also versatile enough to play on the outside and fast enough to beat opposing cornerbacks downfield. He made big plays running the ball on jet sweeps (3 TD runs in 2023) and returned punts during his senior year. As a leader, Pearsall helped mentor younger Florida receivers Eugene Wilson III and Kahleil Jackson throughout the 2023 season. He is a high football IQ player who studies film to find ways to get open against one-on-one coverage and zone defenses.

Against Charlotte on Sept. 23, Pearsall made a leaping one-handed stab on a throw over his head and cradled it before it hit the ground, a catch considered as one of the best in college football during the 2023 season. In addition, Pearsall had three 100-yard receiving games during the 2023 season, including catching 10 passes for 166 yards and 1 TD during Florida’s 41-39 comeback win over South Carolina.

Pearsall ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds at the NFL combine, while recording a vertical jump of 42 inches and broad jump of 10 feet, 9 inches. He bench pressed 225 pounds 17 straight times. With that strong performance, Pearsall chose not to work out at Florida football pro day.
