New Orleans Saints rookie left tackle Taliese Fuaga announced Friday that the team will be wearing their white away jerseys and gold pants for Week 9's road game with the Carolina Panthers, so dress accordingly. Whatever magic or good vibes may be attached to the Saints' uniforms, they've tried everything to help end their six-game losing streak -- "Color Rush" alternates, throwback jerseys, and other combinations.
Maybe this is the winning ticket. The Saints are 37-25 in white and gold since 2006, including the playoffs, but it's a look they've only seldom used in recent years. As for the Panthers? They're using black jerseys, silver pants, and black socks for the first time in 2024.
