Ryan Preece flipped 10 times in Coke Zero Sugar 400 crash. A violent end to NASCAR's regular season
Ryan Preece was stretchered off the track after his car flipped 10 times near the end of the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
Preece got tangled up with Chase Briscoe as the race was nearing the finish at Daytona International Speedway. The No. 41 car lifted off the infield, then when the roof hit the turf, it started flipping wildly down the grass before finally coming to a halt.
As the engine burned, Preece climbed out of the car. But he was later placed on a stretcher, taken off the track and then hospitalized.

It was the second big crash at Daytona on Saturday night. Near the end of the second stage, Ty Gibbs lost control and pushed Ryan Blaney into the wall. About half the field was caught in "The Big One."
