Rutgers touchdown! Eric Rogers pick six gives Scarlet Knights first TD of 2024 season
Rutgers football has scored its first touchdown of the season.
In a big way.
Cornerback Eric Rogers picked off a pass from Howard quarterback Ja'Shawn Scroggins on third-and-7 and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown to put the Scarlet Knights up 7-0 at the 8:50 mark of the first quarter.
Rogers stepped into a big role this season, taking over as a starter after Max Melton left for the NFL.
