Rutgers football loses starting offensive lineman for remainder of 2024 season

Rutgers football has one of its key offensive lineman for the remainder of the season.

Bryan Felter, who started the first four games of the season at left guard, suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the 2024 campaign.

The Bergen Catholic product will redshirt and return for the 2025 season.

Felter has been part of an offensive line that has made steady progress under Pat Flaherty, who’s in his second season as Rutgers’ offensive line coach.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Felter played in all 13 games last season, making eight starts at left guard.

Rutgers, which is playing Nebraska today at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, has built up depth on the O-line so it has quality options to replace Felter.

Taj White got the start at left guard against the Cornhuskers.
