Roquan Smith still has "much love" for his former teammate Patrick Queen, but all of that will be out the window when the two sides meet in their two scheduled games this season.

Queen left Baltimore for Pittsburgh this offseason, and he wasted no time making himself the villain to Ravens everywhere. He's provided lots of trash talk this spring and summer, even going so far as to bash the food of Charm City.

You already knew it was going to be extra heated this season when the Ravens and Steelers collided, but just in case there was any doubt, Smith eradicated it.

In appearing on the Ravens in-house podcast, he gave Queen a rather menacing warning.

While admitting he still cares for his former position group mate, he called upon the Ravens' star center, running back, and tight end to handle their business against Queen.

“He’s on the other side of the ball, so it’s kind of hard for me to have anything to do with it," Smith said.

That’ll be more of [Tyler] Linderbaum, D-Hen [Derrick Henry], Mark [Andrews], that’ll be able to get after him, but I have a great deal of respect for PQ when he was here.

"I have much love for him. Always care for him, but definitely when we play him, he gots to get dealt with by any means necessary.”

Ravens-Steelers is always a spirited affair, but this rivalry will definitely have some extra juice this season.
