Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will not play in Saturday’s Western Conference finals Game 6.

Head coach Steve Kerr confirmed Iguodala’s status before the game.

Iguodala has not played since suffering a left lateral leg contusion in Game 3. The Warriors are down 3-2 in the series and facing elimination in the playoffs for the first time since Game 7 of the NBA Finals in 2016 when the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship.

The Warriors do expect to have swingman Patrick McCaw back for Game 6. The key bench player should be able to fill in for some of Iguodala’s minutes after missing 31 games with a back contusion.

The Rockets have serious injury concerns of their own with starting point guard Chris Paul ruled out with a hamstring strain suffered in the final minute of Houston’s Game 5 victory on Thursday.
