Report: UFC champ Rose Namajunas emphatically rejected Conor McGregor's apology for UFC 223 meltdown

Conor McGregor famously had an all-time violent meltdown ahead of UFC 223 that resulted in multiple injuries and saw the mercurial fighter eventually slapped with handcuffs and facing criminal charges.

The incident that saw McGregor and his crew throw a dolly and a road block at an occupied van and injured and forced two fighters to miss their UFC 223 bouts left UFC president Dana White livid while damaging UFC’s and McGregor’s brand.

On Tuesday, Ike Feldman, an MMA radio and podcast host for New York’s WFAN and “Outside the Cage,” reported that McGregor reached out to apologize to UFC champion Rose Namajunas, who successfully defended her strawweight title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in UFC 223’s co-main event.

Namajunas was apparently having none of it.

Bleacher Report reached out to Namajunas’ longtime partner, Pat Barry who confirmed to them that McGregor did indeed unsuccessfully seek Namajunas’ forgiveness.

We can’t say that we blame her for her response.
