It doesn’t look like Buddy Hield will have to find a new home after all. Sam Amick of The Athletic is reporting that Hield and the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $86 million.

While the $86 million figure is lower than the $90 million offer the Kings reportedly offered Hield last week (and much lower than the $110 million Hield was reportedly seeking), ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that there are two levels of incentives in the contract that can bring the total value of the contract to $106 million. The first level of incentives are “exceedingly reachable” and increase the base value of the contract to $94 million. The final $12 million in incentives are tougher to reach.

Less than a week ago it appeared that negotiations between Hield and the Kings had broken down. Reports had the two parties $20 million apart on extension proposals, and Hield said that if the Kings wouldn’t give him what he’s worth, he’d find a new home. Things turned around quickly, because now Hield has the extension he wanted with the team he wants to be with.
