Report: Kansas basketball target, 5-star Bryson Tiller, sets commitment date

LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball fans will soon learn if Bryson Tiller is going to commit to spend his college career with the Jayhawks.

Tiller, a 247Sports Composite five-star talent in the 2025 recruiting class, is set to announce his decision on Nov. 10 in a little less than three weeks. That news comes from a report by 247Sports. In addition to Kansas, Tiller is considering Auburn, Georgia Tech and Indiana.

Here's where Kansas basketball’s 2025 Champions Classic game against Duke will be played

“They have a great coaching staff and obviously a great culture,” Tiller once said about KU, according to 247Sports. “We went again on an unofficial just to see the skill development and all of that stuff, the little details. We just wanted to gather more information. When we went back we wanted to learn a lot more about development, off-season development and how I would be able to fit into their system and evolve as a player while I'm there, if I go there.”

Tiller is the fifth-rated power forward in his class and the 16th-rated prospect in the nation. So far, Kansas has yet to receive any public commitments for its 2025 recruiting class. However, with Tiller’s impending announcement and more, that could change before long.

Back during the 2024 recruiting class, the Jayhawks signed and added five-star Flory Bidunga and four-star Rakease Passmore. Those two were a part of a larger group of newcomers that included a number of high-profile transfers. They’re all part of the reason why Kansas is entering the season as one of the favorites not just for the Big 12 Conference title, but national title.
