Report: Johnny Manziel to throw at Texas A&M Pro Day
Johnny Manziel is continuing to do what he can to put himself in front of NFL teams.
Via Fox Sports and Sports Illustrated reporter Bruce Feldman, Manziel will throw at Texas A&M’s Pro Day on Tuesday, putting him back on the campus where he rose to prominence as a Heisman Trophy winner.
Representatives from all 32 NFL teams will be in attendance.
Aggies’ receiver Christian Kirk is one of the better prospects at his position in the draft, and Manziel will be throwing to him, as well as A&M’s other draft-eligible receivers.
Manziel also threw at the University of San Diego’s Pro Day last week, though far fewer teams had representatives there.
The 2014 first-round pick is attempting a comeback after his own issues led to him being drafted and out of the league within less than two years.
Manziel has been more open of late about his personal struggles, which include a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and alcohol abuse.
