A judge has issued a restraining order against Jermaine Jones after the former U.S. World Cup standout “stalked and threatened” ex-Baywatch actor David Charvet, according to a TMZ report.

The report states that Charvet requested the restraining order after Jones accused him of breaking up his 11-year marriage to his wife, Sarah, in a since-deleted Instagram post. It says that Charvet claimed that Jones also sent him a series of threatening messages, including one that included a picture of a recently purchased firearm, and attempted to confront him at his residence. Jones is now forbidden to come within 100 yards of Charvet.

“I am in tremendous fear for my safety that he will stop at nothing to find me, continue to stalk me and carry through with his combative and threatening behavior,” Charvet told the court per TMZ, adding that he was not in a relationship with Sarah Jones, a former Miss Germany. “We are not romantically or sexually involved in any way whatsoever, we are simply friends.”

Jones did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The 37-year-old, who scored for the U.S. against Portugal at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, retired from soccer in September following an 18-year career that included stops in England, MLS, Turkey and his native Germany. Jones, the son of a German mother and American serviceman father, was born and raised near Frankfurt. He’s embarked on a coaching career since hanging up his boots.
