Sources: Cavaliers finalizing trade for Pistons' Andre Drummond
The Cleveland Cavaliers are working on acquiring Andre Drummond from the Detroit Pistons, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported.
Cleveland’s Brandon Knight and John Henson are being traded to Detroit for Andre Drummond, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

The Pistons will get Brandon Knight and John Henson in the deal, per Haynes. They’ll also get a future second-round draft pick.
As of Thursday morning, there was an “increased likelihood” the Pistons would keep their center. Drummond, a two-time All-Star, can opt out of his contract and become a free agent at season’s end, likely leading to the team’s interest in a trade.
The Pistons veteran voiced his displeasure at the news on Twitter an hour after the news broke, saying “there’s no friends or loyalty” in the NBA and that he had “no heads up” it would happen.

Drummond, 26, is averaging a career-high 17.8 points per game. His 15.8 rebounds per game are also league best. He’s led the NBA in rebounding in three of his seven full seasons, all of which have been with the Pistons. Detroit drafted him with the ninth overall pick in the 2012 draft.
Knight will return to the Pistons, who drafted him eighth overall in the 2011 draft. He’s averaging 4.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 16 games off the bench.
Henson was in his first season in Cleveland after seven with the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s averaging five points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 14.2 minutes per game.
