Report: AJ Green out 6-8 weeks with ankle injury
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green will start the season on the sidelines.
The 30-year-old was injured during the team’s first day of training camp and has reportedly torn ligaments in his left ankle, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
An MRI revealed that Bengals’ WR A.J. Green has torn ligaments in his left ankle that is likely to sideline him six to eight weeks, source tells ESPN. Green is not expected to be ready for the regular-season opener at Seattle.

Green is a seven-time Pro Bowler and has increasingly dealt with injuries over his nine-year career. In 2018 he was limited to just nine games with a toe injury and had 46 catches for 694 yards and six touchdowns.
