Reggie Miller picks between Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton on 3-pointers

Who is the best 3-point shooter in Indianapolis: Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, Tyrese Haliburton or Caitlin Clark?

Miller faced that question on Monday's "Dan Patrick Show."

"Caitlin can lace it. So can Tyrese," Miller said. "Right now ... Tyrese has been struggling with his 3-point shot since the All-Star break. I've been doing my homework. So I might go with Caitlin."

Haliburton is preparing for the second round of the NBA playoffs with the Pacers; Clark is preparing for her WNBA debut with the Indiana Fever.

But was if Miller was active? "Come on." Miller would never bet against himself.

Last week, Patrick asked Pacers coach Rick Carlisle the same question, and Carlisle said Bird would always pick himself.

Reggie Miller will call Pacers vs. Knicks game in New York

Miller will be courtside at Madison Square Garden for Game 2 of the Pacers' series against the Knicks, calling the action on TNT.

What kind of reaction does he expect?

"I'm sure I'll hear all those naughty words. ... I will be surprised if I don't hear during the game, 'Reggie sucks.' Actually, I'll be a little hurt if I don't hear, 'Reg-gie sucks.' I kind of want that."

"The boogeyman is coming back to town to call the game," he added.

Many of Miller's greatest moments with the Pacers came at the expense of the Knicks during their many playoff battles in the 1990s.

He said he won't lead cheers for the Pacers, comparing it to Tony Romo or Troy Aikman calling Dallas Cowboys games.

"It's going to be down the middle," he said. "My job is to call it like I see it."
