Ravens won't face Deshaun Watson in Week 8 after Browns QB suffered a torn Achilles
"This story was updated to add new information."
Baltimore will meet Cleveland in the first of two regular-season meetings in Week 8, and they're unlikely to face quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The Browns signal-caller suffered what looked to be a season-ending Achilles injury during the team's Week 7 game against the Bengals.
Watson went down on a non-contact injury, and the quarterback was distraught as he was carted off.
Former UCLA star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson entered the game to replace Watson.
In his third season in Cleveland, Watson has struggled, posting the lowest QBR of all qualified passers. He was 15-of-17 for 128 yards Sunday before the injury.
Update:
Watson has in fact, suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, and he'll miss the remainder of this season.
