Every year sleepers wait in the wings, being overlooked round after round, just waiting to produce a year much better than expected. Yahoo Fantasy’s Liz Loza and Brad Evans are here to help you find the guys in the late rounds that will turn you into a winner.

At quarterback Philip Rivers is a guy to target late. Don’t let his team’s lack of success fool you: Rivers has been as consistent as they come, scoring out as a QB1 in nine of the last 11 years. Rivers is going in the 10th round with an average draft position of about 108 as of Sunday. There’s a lot to like with Rivers this year when it comes to the weapons around him, too. The team has one of the league’s best tight end duos in Antonio Gates and Hunter Henry. Out wide, Rivers is going to benefit greatly from the return of Keenan Allen, who played in just one game last year due to injury. He also has Tyrell Williams, who emerged with Allen out, and hopes to get first-round pick Mike Williams healthy a few weeks into the season.

At running back, you’ll find a deep sleeper in Rivers’ former teammate and current Philadelphia Eagle Darren Sproles. The Eagles parted ways with Ryan Mathews, and Sproles is an outstanding pass-catching back. He’s also playing under offensive coordinator Frank Reich, who loves to get his backs involved in the passing game. While LeGarrette Blount may dominate early touches, Sproles will be a popular option for Carson Wentz out of the backfield, and at an ADP of 120, he’s a perfect sleeper option, especially in PPR.

At receiver, take a look at Rams rookie Cooper Kupp, whose 6,464 receiving yards at Eastern Washington are most in FBS history. Kupp will function in the slot in coach Sean McVay’s slot-friendly offense. Loza expects Kupp to mirror what Jamison Crowder, one of the best slot receivers in the league, did in Washington under McVay: produce, produce, produce. Jared Goff has been checking it down a lot this preseason, and that means a lot of targets for Kupp.
