Presbyterian women's basketball upsets top seed High Point, moves one win from March Madness
Presbyterian women's basketball is one win away from the NCAA Tournament.
The Blue Hose knocked off top-seed High Point 59-50 on Saturday in the Big South semifinals at the Nido and Mariana Quebec Center in High Point, North Carolina.
The No. 5 seed Blue Hose (19-14) will face No. 3 Radford in the Big South championship on Sunday (6 p.m. ESPN+). The winner Sunday earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Presbyterian couldn't have pulled off the upset against High Point (20-11) without sophomore Tilda Sjokvist.
The 5-foot-7 guard finished with 19 points, shooting 7-for-19 from the field, including 2-for-7 on 3-pointers. Sjokvist also had six rebounds, two assists, and five steals.
Presbyterian also outclassed the Panthers inside, outscoring them 38-14 in the paint and outrebounding them 42-25.

Presbyterian held High Point to just 50 points, 13 below its season average. The Panthers shot 33% from the field and 32% on 3-pointers.
