The Post's Athlete of the Week: Vote on this week's best high school sports performances
Welcome to Athlete of the Week voting from The Palm Beach Post!
The poll is open until noon Friday.
Congratulations to our last winner, Ella Strong from Cardinal Newman girls lacrosse. The sophomore tallied three goals and a team-high five assists against Seminole Ridge and posted a 10-point performance against Jupiter Christian.
Each winner will be awarded a one-of-a-kind Athlete of the Week shirt provided by BSN SPORTS. Winners will be contacted weekly. Nominees are accepted via email or phone, but will be selected by staff in the absence of submission.

Softball: Victoria Payne, Wellington -- Junior pitched a complete game shutout against Palm Beach Gardens, allowing just three hits while striking out five
Baseball: Elijah Andino, Trinity Christian -- Senior reached base four times, with two walks and two hits, including a double, in a 4-3 win over Saint Andrew's
Girls lacrosse: Madison Jayson, Benjamin -- Sophomore tallied three goals and five assists to lead Benjamin in a 15-7 win over Jensen Beach
Boys lacrosse: Dylan Furshman, Jupiter -- Junior scored three goals and tallied an assist in a close 12-11 win over St. John Paul II
Track and field: Laney Williams, Spanish River -- Senior won the 1600 meter, posting a personal record time of 5:27.91, and anchored the relay team in the Martin County Tiger Invitational
