Who won last week's Girls Athlete of the Week poll?
In last week's poll, Souderton wrestler Kayla Husti-Luca was voted Girls Athlete of the Week with 45 percent of the vote.
Next was Neshaminy basketball player Lola Ibarrondo at 35 percent.
Vote for the first Girls Athlete of the Week for 2024!
Delaney McCaffrey, Council Rock North, basketball. Had 24 points and seven assists in a win over New Hope-Solebury, and scored 23 points, with five 3-pointers, in an OT loss to CB South.
Amber Howard, Bensalem, basketball. Scored 20 points in a win against Souderton for her third straight 20-point game and had 13 points in an upset victory against CB East.
Brooke Lobban, Upper Moreland, track & field. Won the triple jump at the Robert J. Burdette Indoor Classic; her 36-11 jump ranks as the top in PA this season.
Jess Burns, Souderton, swimming. Won the girls 100-yard breaststroke at the Cumberland Valley Invitational with a time of 1:03.19, breaking the school record set in 2002.
Ella Wheeler, CB South, basketball. Hit a game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation, and then had five points in overtime, finishing with 18 points in a win over CR North.
