The US men's national team have a head coach, David goss my first question to you.
Where exactly in New York City?
Do we schedule the World Cup victory break?
Because we usually do it at the Canyon Heroes.
Now, it's just like we really need to get these things in order because now the US men's national team have a top tier head coach and I get, there might be people on here being like, well, hold up, hold up, Pochettino.
He couldn't win in the premier league, blah, blah, blah, blah.
He never really won a lie.
Won at PSG.
But who can't win at PSG?
You're going to hear a lot of that, but this is without a doubt, the biggest hire the US men's national team have ever had in their history.
If you're a fan of this team.
The first exciting thing is that something's done like flux doesn't help anyone the, with, especially with the national team, the time is so little that you can get groups together.
I, I think the US has a friendly in September here in New York.
Um September 7th or eighth or something.
So, like, why are you gonna keep wasting camps.
Why are you gonna keep wasting time?
So I think having something done is exciting.
Clearly, there's excitement about the profile of who was hired, as you mentioned, um where he stands internationally.
Uh The sign it shows of the federation trying to be competitive and make this attempt.
Um and shift things and I think the acknowledgment of like 2026 is special.
It's, it's hard to say it's once in a lifetime because 94 and like 99 I'm sure thir 2031 is gonna be a women's World Cup.
So it's not once in a lifetime, but it is the clearest way for the sport to take another jump in this country and it's the closest that this team's gonna have, it's gonna be the quote unquote, easiest path.
This team is gonna have to winning something at that level because they're gonna be hosts.
They're gonna be able to choose, they already chose where they're going to play their first game.
I think Greg Burel chose that.
So I wonder if Potito comes in and goes, dude, las trash, get this game out of here and he's like, you already put it in and he's like that wasn't me.
Um It, so I think all of that.
So, II I think the combination of sigh of relief and excitement sort of creates this groundswell that we're feeling today of like holy crap.
