Pickerington Central basketball's Berry Wallace selected for McDonald's All-American Game
Pickerington Central senior Berry Wallace was named Tuesday as one of 24 participants in the McDonald’s All-American girls basketball game April 2 in Houston.
Wallace, a 6-foot-1 forward/center, was the only Ohioan selected for the game. She is an Illinois signee and five-star recruit.
Wallace was one of five central Ohio players nominated for the boys and girls games. There were 724 nominees nationally, including 15 from Ohio.
The other central Ohio players were Kamryn Grant and Natiah Nelson from Africentric’s defending Division III state champion girls team and boys players Jesse Burris from Delaware Hayes and Braylen Nash of New Albany.
Central (14-3, 6-0 OCC-Ohio) is ranked second in this week’s Associated Press Division I state poll behind Olentangy.
Congrats to future Illini Berry Wallace for earning a spot on the McDonald's All American Game roster!
