Photos: Kraken Players Honor Gaudreau Brothers with Helmet Decals.

The Seattle Kraken debuted a new helmet decal on opening day, one that honors the lives of fallen hockey brethren Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

In fact, all 32 NHL teams will honor the Gaudreau brothers at the start of the 2024-25 season and wear the decals throughout all season openers until October 24. The decals feature a "G" for Gaudreau in the center, with the number 13 for Johnny on the left and 21 for Matthew on the right.

Prior to each NHL opening game, teams will honor the brothers with a tribute video, followed by 13 seconds of silence. The Kraken further paid their respects to Johnny and Matthew by illuminating the ice with their names and jersey numbers.
