Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 18 game
The Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) seek to go into the playoffs with positive momentum from a win over the New York Giants (5-11) in the regular season finale.
Philadelphia has dropped four of their last five and the race for the NFC East crown against the Dallas Cowboys is coming down to the wire. Their lone win in that stretch came against the Giants when they got the 33-25 victory. New York benched rookie star Tommy DeVito for veteran Tyrod Taylor at the half.
Last week, the Eagles fell to the Arizona Cardinals 35-31. Both Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray threw three touchdowns and a pick, but Philadelphia's defense allowed 221 rushing yards.
The Giants are already eliminated from playoff contention. Last year, they made the postseason for the first time since 2016, but have struggled to find momentum behind three different quarterbacks and Saquon Barkley injured at the beginning of the season.

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 21, Giants 20
The Eagles haven’t covered any of their last five games and the Giants have been much better with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. Philadelphia’s defense has been getting shredded and Nick Sirianni’s offense has become unimaginative and stagnant. Philadelphia should win, but they haven’t been beating anyone convincingly.
Tyler Dragon: Eagles 28, Giants 20
The Eagles are in a freefall. They’ve lost four of their last five games. But Philadelphia’s only win in its last five contests came against the Giants. The Eagles desperately need to go into the postseason on a positive note. Philadelphia’s defense is the main reason why they’ve struggled of late.
Safid Deen: Eagles 27, Giants 20
As much as the Giants would love to jump on the struggling Eagles, they should keep their eye on the prize of securing a Top 5 draft pick and the chance to find a new starting quarterback. The Eagles should win this one and try to create some momentum heading into the playoffs.
Victoria Hernandez: Eagles 25, Giants 20
The Eagles have unexpectedly fallen apart this last stretch of the season, but have clawed out plenty of victories. This one won't be pretty, but Jalen Hurts wills his team to another one.
Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 31, Giants 27
After last week’s stunner, Philadelphia needs to win if they want to have a chance of winning the division. While that is unlikely now, the Eagles' defense plays better to end the regular season with a victory over New York.
