Tiger Woods moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, recovering after 'follow-up procedures'
Tiger Woods was transferred from the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, one day after his single-car crash left him with serious leg injuries and forced him into emergency surgery, the hospital announced Thursday night.
The move, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, happened Wednesday night. Woods's team confirmed the news on Friday afternoon, and said that he had "received follow-up procedures on his injuries" on Friday morning. Specifics on those procedures are not known.
"The procedures were successful, and he is now recovering and in good spirits," his team said. "Tiger and his family want to thank you all for the wonderful support and messages they have received over the past few days."

The Harbor-UCLA Medical Center said in a statement on Thursday that Woods was moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for “continuing orthopedic care and recovery.”
Woods was taken to the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday by ambulance after he crashed his vehicle just south of Los Angeles that morning. He then underwent a “long surgical procedure” and needed rods, pins and screws inserted to stabilize his leg.
Woods’ team announced Tuesday night that he was awake and responsive after the surgery, and Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva confirmed Wednesday that there was “no evidence of impairment whatsoever” and that the incident was considered an accident.
It’s unclear how long Woods will remain in the hospital. According to the Golf Channel’s Rex Hoggard, experts predict Wood will need at least a week before he can travel home to Florida.
