The New England Patriots are planning to play their Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos. A day after shutting things down due to a positive COVID-19 test, the Patriots reportedly reopened their practice facility Saturday, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
The Patriots' facility is back open this morning after the team canceled practice Friday afternoon following a positive COVID-19 test.

The Patriots canceled practice Friday after another player tested positive for the coronavirus. Instead, the team held virtually meetings to continue preparing for the Broncos.
Patriots have already dealt with coronavirus outbreak
The Patriots already missed a game due to a coronavirus outbreak. The team took a bye in Week 5 after multiple Patriots players were placed on the COVID-19/reserve list. Quarterback Cam Newton and cornerback Stephon Gilmore were among the Patriots’ players placed on that list.
While both Gilmore and Newton are back, the team revealed another player tested positive for the coronavirus Friday. It’s unclear how the NFL would handle the situation if the Patriots were unable to play in Week 6.
Despite the positive test, the Broncos still intend to travel to New England on Saturday.
The Patriots are not the only team dealing with positive coronavirus tests in Week 6. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles also had players test positive prior to Sunday’s games. Those teams still intend to play Sunday despite the positive tests.
