College Gameday returned to Aggieland for the first time since 2018, posing as the appetizer before the season-opening top-25 matchup between Texas A&M and Notre Dame. Before the game, most of the panel, including Pat McAfee, chose A&M to win, except for the legendary Lee Corso, who chose the Fighting Irish.

The signs were great, a $50,000 fan field goal was made, and Pat McAfee went all out during his prediction. Overall, it was a great event, and the Aggie faithful showed up, making it a great opening to the 2024 season. Pat spoke on his show a few days later on just how much fun he had on Saturday.

Even though the Aggie football team came up short on Saturday night, the Aggie fans started College GameDay off with a bang.
