Some of the biggest names in men's tennis will participate at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with the competition set for the historic clay surface at Roland-Garros, home of the French Open.

The men's singles competition will include 64 players locked into a straight knockout tournament. The gold-medal winner will have to be victorious in six straight matches in what figures to be a highly competitive event from start to finish.

Alexander Zverev (Germany) won gold in 2020 and will be hoping to defend his crown, as will doubles victors Mate Pavić and Nikola Mektić of Croatia. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will represent Italy in both the singles and doubles competitions, but Rafael Nadal may draw more attention than anyone else.

The legendary Spanish player, a two-time gold medalist, is seen as likely to be playing his final season as a professional. He will represent his nation in both the singles and doubles competition, where his partner is world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz.
