Wonnum signed a two-year, $12.5 million deal with the Panthers out of free agency.
Unlike wide receiver Adam Thielen and safety Jordan Fuller were on Wednesday, Wonnum was not officially designated to return to practice. He was listed as a limited participant for yesterday's session and as a non-participant today.
