OU softball: Tiare Jennings breaks Sydney Romero's career doubles mark for Sooners
Tiare Jennings is OU softball’s career doubles leader.
Jennings led off the third inning with a fly ball deep into the left-field corner in the Sooners’ game against Baylor on Friday night at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.
Jennings broke Sydney Romero’s record of 58 career doubles after tying it in last weekend’s series at Texas Tech.
The double also broke a tie with Lauren Chamberlain for second place on in Sooners’ career total bases list.
Despite the leadoff double, OU couldn't score in the inning, keeping its 1-0 lead.
In the top of the fourth, Baylor tied it.
