OU softball shuts out Lamar in Cowgirl Challenge, extends NCAA-record win streak to 60
The OU softball team stretched its NCAA-record winning streak to 60 games Saturday, beating Lamar 8-0 in five innings at the Cowgirl Challenge in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The Sooners will take on McNeese State at 6:30 p.m. in its second game of the day.
Kinzie Hansen hit a solo home run in the first, and Tiare Jennings belted a solo homer in the second, giving Kiersten Deal all the run support she needed.
