Sunday, there was no taking it away.
The Longhorns’ designated player blasted a two-out, two-run home run off the top of the left-field wall to give Texas a 2-1 lead on the Sooners in the fourth.
Top third: OU 1, Texas 0 | Ella Parker gives Sooners lead
Freshman Ella Parker left no doubt.
Parker drilled Teagan Kavan’s 1-1 offering out deep to right-center field to lead off the third and put the Sooners ahead 1-0.
The home run was Parker’s seventh of the season.
