Oregon football gets a game time for huge matchup with Ohio State at Autzen Stadium

In what will likely be the showdown of the Big Ten conference season, Oregon will play in front of a national audience on prime time against Ohio State.

The No. 6 Ducks (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will play No. 3 Ohio State (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Autzen Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on NBC.

Oregon is coming off a 34-13 win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl last Saturday and will play Michigan State on Friday. The Buckeyes are similarly undefeated and will play Iowa in Columbus on Saturday before the trip to Eugene.

The Ducks and Buckeyes will meet for the first time as conference opponents, but have recent history with one another as nonconference foes. Oregon defeated Ohio State for the first time in school history in 2021 on the road, 35-28. Before that, the Ducks lost each of their first nine matchups against the Buckeyes.

It will be Ohio State's second-ever trip to Eugene, with the first coming in 1967.
