Ole Miss football start times, TV information announced for first three games of 2024 season
OXFORD ― Start times and TV networks were announced for the first three games of the 2024 Ole Miss football schedule on Thursday.
The Rebels begin their season with a home game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Aug. 31 against Furman. That contest will begin at 6 p.m. and air on SEC Network+. It will be the first matchup between Ole Miss and the FCS Paladins, who posted a 10-3 record in 2023.
Ole Miss will then play host to Middle Tennessee on Sept. 7 in a 3:15 p.m. game on SEC Network. The Rebels won the only meeting between these two programs back in 2001. The Blue Raiders named former Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason their new coach over the offseason following a 4-8 campaign.
The Rebels' first road game of the season arrives on Sept. 14, when they travel to Wake Forest. That contest is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start on the CW. The Demon Deacons, who went 4-8 last season, have won their only two meetings with the Rebels, claiming both ends of a home-and-home in 2006 and 2008.
