Ole Miss football announces date, time for 2023 Grove Bowl
OXFORD — Ole Miss football has announced the date and time for the Grove Bowl, its annual spring game.
The 2023 event will be held on Saturday, April 15, according to a release distributed by the university on Tuesday. The game will kick off from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at 2 p.m. CT. That weekend will be a busy period for Rebels fans – that is the same weekend that Ole Miss baseball is slated to visit Mississippi State for a three-game series.
According to the release, TV information for the game will come at a later date.
Ole Miss also announced that spring practice will begin on March 21. The NCAA permits 15 on-field sessions during this period. Twelve can include contact, and eight can involve tackling. Three full 11-on-11 scrimmages are permitted. The Grove Bowl will count as one of those 15 practices as well as one of the three scrimmages.
