These old photos of Sister Jean and Stanley from The Office at Loyola are perfect
Surely this is news to everyone, but it turns out Loyola Chicago hasn’t been relevant in college basketball for quite some time. Of course that sentiment no longer matters with LUC back in the Final Four for the first time since 1963 but the gap between then and now means there’s a lot to catch up on since the Ramblers last took over the tournament.
The Cinderella story is impossible to avoid and equally as tough to not smile when hearing about it.
Need more proof? Old photos are popping up of The Ramblers most famous faces throughout the years and they are absolutely delightful.
Check out what Sister Jean looked like 55 years ago when Loyola last danced its way to the Final Four.

All the famous hallmarks are present here. The joy, wisdom and strength of Sister Jean will just not be denied.
Want an even better image from a less famous alum? Check out what actor Leslie David Baker looked like during his days on campus in Rogers Park — though you probably know him better Stanley on the long-running NBC comedy The Office.

It appears he perfected his Stanley look way back before getting into acting. It’s also clear that this current crop of Ramblers didn’t learn anything about basketball from Baker’s character, although we’re pretty sure that’s for the best.
