Oklahoma softball: How Love's Field stacks up with college softball's biggest stadiums
NORMAN — OU catcher Kinzie Hansen can’t wait for the opening of Love’s Field.
“Just being able to get that many fans to support the game of softball in the middle of the country where you would never thing,” Hansen said. “I think that’s so special and being able to grow this game for the younger generation to dream of leaving a mark and making history themselves, I think this stadium is going to be instrumental in that for sure.”
The OU softball team makes its move to the 4,200-capacity stadium, which becomes the biggest on-campus softball facility in the country, with a 2 p.m. Friday opener against Miami (Ohio).
