OKC Thunder lands No. 12 pick in 2024 NBA Draft lottery
The OKC Thunder will have the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
OKC acquired the pick, which was top-four protected, from Houston during a 2019 trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Rockets. It then conveyed on Sunday during the NBA Draft lottery, which saw Atlanta land the No. 1 overall pick.
OKC also had a top-10 protected pick from Utah, but it didn't convey. The Jazz received the No. 10 pick.

OKC Thunder history with No. 12 pick in NBA Draft
OKC had the No. 12 pick in last year’s draft. It traded with Dallas to move up to No. 10, where it selected Cason Wallace.
Wallace has already carved out a role with OKC, which trails Dallas 2-1 in the Western Conference semifinals. He averaged 6.8 points and 2.3 rebounds during the regular season.
OKC also has a good track record when drafting at pick No. 12. It selected Steven Adams at that spot in 2013 and Jalen Williams in 2022.
Adams spent seven seasons with the Thunder, and he ranks fourth in franchise history in career rebounds (4,029). Williams earned an All-Rookie first team selection last season, and he’s averaging 19.9 points and 6.3 rebounds this postseason.
