Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud repeats as Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Year

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud has earned Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Year honors for the second straight season in voting by coaches and media.

Stroud, who’ll likely be a Heisman Trophy finalist again, has thrown for 3,340 yards and 37 touchdowns with a completion percentage of 66.2.

Stroud also was named the conference’s Quarterback of the Year, continuing that award's monopoly for the Buckeyes. An OSU quarterback has won the award the last seven years, starting with J.T. Barrett, followed by Dwayne Haskins Jr., and Justin Fields before Stroud.

Sophomore Marvin Harrison Jr. was named the Receiver of the Year in the Big Ten. Harrison has 72 catches for 1,157 yards and 12 touchdowns. He has dropped only one pass all season. Harrison becomes the first Buckeye to win that award despite the elite number of receivers OSU has had in recent seasons.

Joining Stroud and Harrison as first-team selections are left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. (coaches and media) and left guard Donovan Jackson (media). Second-team picks were wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (coaches and media), right guard Matthew Jones (coaches and media), and right tackle Dawand Jones (media).

Egbuka has 66 receptions for 1,039 yards and nine touchdowns.

Miyan Williams was a third-team running back by both coaches and media. Williams has averaged 6.5 yards per carry while running for 834 yards and 13 touchdowns despite missing time with injuries.

Center Luke Wypler and tight end Cade Stover were picked as third-teamers by media voters. Stover has 35 catches, the most by an OSU tight end since Rickey Dudley in 1995.

Running back TreVeyon Henderson was honorable mention in media voting. Like Williams, Henderson has battled injuries, including one that kept him out of the Michigan game. He has 604 yards in 107 carries (5.3 per carry) with six touchdowns.
