Ohio State men's basketball is 'nationally irrelevant': Reactions to Chris Holtmann firing
Chris Holmann is no longer Ohio State's men's basketball coach.
Holtmann was fired from the post Wednesday after the Buckeyes' 62-54 loss to Wisconsin. Under Holtmann in 2023-24, Ohio State has lost 10 of 14 Big Ten games.
Holtmann spent seven seasons at Ohio State, and led the Buckeyes to four NCAA Tournament appearances. The Buckeyes posted a 137-84 record under Holtmann and a 67-63 record in conference play.
Ohio State has not won a Big Ten road game since Jan. 1, 2023.
Here's how people are reacting to Holtmann's removal.

Where does Ohio State men's basketball stand?
Chris Holtmann is a good dude. But I can't remember the Ohio State men's basketball program being this nationally irrelevant in my lifetime.
