Could Ohio State see two more teams join the Big Ten Conference in the near future?
ESPN's Pete Thamel reported Thursday that Big Ten presidents authorized conference commissioner Tony Petitti to "explore expansion" and seek more information about adding the Huskies and the Ducks to the conference while the deal remains "uncertain" and no offers have been made.

Neither Washington nor Oregon would be guaranteed a full revenue share, per Thamel.
According to the Associated Press, a group of Big Ten presidents began discussing the possibility of adding more West Coast schools Wednesday, with Oregon and Washington as the primary targets.
The Big Ten will add both USC and UCLA to the conference starting in 2024, growing the conference to 16 teams.
Ohio State is scheduled to travel to UCLA in 2024 and host USC in 2025.
How has Ohio State done against Oregon and Washington?
Ohio State has seen both Oregon and Washington multiple times.
The Buckeyes have faced the Ducks 10 times, winning nine matchups, including a meeting in the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. However, Oregon, after nine straight losses to the Buckeyes, beat Ohio State in Columbus Sept. 11, 2021, 35-28.
Ohio State has a home-and-home scheduled with Oregon in 2032 and 2033.
The Buckeyes have faced off against Washington 12 times, winning nine times. The Buckeyes currently hold a four-game win streak against the Huskies, last beating Washington 28-23 in the 2019 Rose Bowl. Ohio State hasn't lost to Washington since 1994.
Ohio State called off a home-and-home series scheduled against Washington for 2024 and 2025 in February.
