Ohio State football commit Sonny Styles of Pickerington Central reclassifying to class of 2022
Pickerington Central junior Sonny Styles, a five-star safety who has committed to Ohio State, will be reclassifying into the 2022 football recruiting class, according to a press release from the Central athletics department.
Styles, a two-year starter for the Tigers, announced his commitment to Ohio State in a Twitter post Nov. 13.

The early signing period for football begins Dec. 15, and Styles is set to sign with four others from Central at a 3 p.m. ceremony that day.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Styles had three interceptions and was first-team all-district this fall as the Tigers finished 12-2 and were runners-up in Division I, Region 3.
Styles and his brother, 2021 graduate Lorenzo Styles Jr., helped Central to a state runner-up finish in 2020. Styles Jr. now plays for Notre Dame.
